Consider Appointing Patrick Moonen as Lino Lakes Building Official—A 20 council member requested that the council receive more information in the future on the 21 possibility of outsourcing work. 22 23 6A. PUBLIC HEARING—Pine Street Reconstruction - City Engineer Studenski ' -- 24 indicated that at the council meeting he will be reviewing the project feasibility study. He 25 added that the City of Columbus (who shares Pine Street with the City of Lino Lakes) is 26 on board to share costs on the project but is awaiting this city's approval process. Calls 27 from the residents continue to indicate their support for the project. Mr. Studenski added 28 that there has been extensive cooperative work with the Rice Creek Watershed District on 29 the project. 30 31 6B. Consideration of Resolution No. 09-90: Conditional Use Permit for a Church 32 at 7868 Lake Drive (North Springs Church)—City Planner Smyser reported that the 33 request relates to the church's attempt to move into the former VFW building. They are 34 expected to finish the work that is required for the site and the work has already 35 commenced. The letter of credit and financing is in place as required by the city. 36 37 A) Consideration of First Reading of Ordinance No. 11-09, Amending 38 Ordinance 04-04 and the Lino Lakes Town Center Design and Development Guide 39 to allow Assisted Living Facilities in certain land use categories within the Legacy at 40 Woods Edge project area— City Planner Bengtson reported that staff has reviewed the 41 plan in place for the Town Center area and has determined that that the amendments 42 presented are the most appropriate way to allow for the proposed assisted living facility. 43 Areas of the plan that would require amendment are highlighted in the staff report. Staff 44 has added some additional "clean-up" items they see as appropriate in the plan. The 45 council confirmed that there are no design standard changes as part of these amendments. 1
