Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve <br />comments received from the process, including the County's response are listed in the Appendix of this <br />document. <br />Lino Lakes Senior Center Engagement <br />with the overwhelming responses, the <br />County is proposing to add six, for a total of <br />eight once all are constructed and the <br />County is adding two accessible <br />canoe/kayak launches to the park to make <br />it easier for people with disabilities, seniors <br />and people with small children to get onto <br />the water. A summary of comments and <br />the County's responses is located in the <br />Appendix. <br />While the multilingual surveys created for online engagement have <br />received fewer than expected responses, the County focused its <br />efforts on pop-up events at various locations in the community. At <br />these events, the County set up information and picture boards <br />regarding the projects to discuss with the public. These events <br />occurred at the Lino Lakes Senior Center, Wargo Nature Center's <br />Earth Day event, Centerville Beach, and Centennial Library. For <br />more information about these events and other engagement <br />conducted, a Community Engagement Summary matrix is located in <br />the Appendix. <br />Some item's incorporated into the master plan include additional <br />interpretive information throughout the park and an additional <br />fishing pier on Centerville Lake. As shown in the <br />engagement process for this amendment, there is a lack of knowledge of the parks and trails system.
