While the property owner has had discussions with adjacent commercial properties, the plan does <br />not address redevelopment of those sites. The entire Morris property is proposed for residential <br />development. The proposal currently includes single level row homes, an assisted living facility <br />and a proposed market rate multi -family building. <br />The owner is currently seeking feedback on the proposal. <br />Staff is proposing to have a more detailed discussion with the Planning and Zoning board at the <br />November 8 meeting. Comments received at the meeting will be forwarded to the City Council <br />for discussion in December. <br />On a related note staff is working with WSB and Associates on a proposal to extend sanitary <br />sewer and water to the 49/J area. <br />Requested Council Direction <br />1.
