CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: October 9, 2017 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 17-111, Election Judge Approval <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The City of Lino Lakes will conduct a municipal election on November 7, 2017 to elect a <br />mayor and two council members. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The governing body of a municipality has the authority to appoint qualified applicants to serve <br />as election judges. Attached is a list of qualified individuals who, if appointed, will be trained <br />to serve as Lino Lakes' Election Judges for the 2017 General Election. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 17-111, Appointing Election Judges for the <br />November 7, 2017 Municipal General Election. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Election Judge Roster <br />Resolution 17-111 <br />
