CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17-133 <br />APPROVING WATERMARK PUD DEVELOPMENT STAGE PLAN AMENDMENT #2 - <br />ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STANDARDS <br />WHEREAS, on June 13, 2016 the City passed Council Resolution No. 16-51 approving a PUD <br />Development Stage Plan/Preliminary Plat for a residential development called Watermark; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 2, 2017 the City received a land use application to amend the <br />Architectural Design Standards of the PUD Development Stage Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff completed a review of the amended Architectural Design Standards <br />prepared by Lennar; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Planning & Zoning Board on November 8, <br />2017 and the Board recommended approval of the amended Architectural Design Standards; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby finds the proposed amended Architectural Design Standards consistent with the approved <br />PUD Development Stage Plan and Comprehensive Plan in regards to resource management <br />system plan, housing plan, economic development, transportation plan and utility plans; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes in order to <br />provide maximum PUD flexibility and adapt to changing market demands, detailed civil, grading <br />and landscaping plans and architectural design standards, floor plans, elevations, exterior <br />materials, styles, color packages and HOA documents will be reviewed and approved with each <br />PUD Final Plan/Final Plat; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes hereby amends <br />Resolution No. 16-51 as follows: <br />ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STANDARDS <br />1. The following are acceptable exterior materials and styles for both the single family <br />homes and the townhomes: <br />a. Exterior Materials <br />i. Vinyl, aluminum or steel siding <br />1. If vinyl siding is used on the townhomes, engineered trim products <br />shall also be incorporated. <br />ii. Brick <br />iii. Stone <br />iv. Stucco <br />v. Wood <br />vi. Engineered siding products such as LP board, Hardie board or similar <br />1 <br />
