Economic Development <br />The Economic Development Department is responsible for the <br />encouragement of growth of new business and industry and offers support to <br />existing businesses. The goal is to provide a balance of residential and <br />business properties to enhance the tax base within the city. Long range <br />planning is conducted through the updating of the Comprehensive Plan.
