Below is a summary of the responses:
Total Number of Surveys Sent: 38
Total Number of Responses: 20
Total Number of “Yes” Responses: 4
Total Number of “No” Responses: 16
Below is a list of additional comments received on the survey:
“Not in agreement to use City Water with City Wells being contaminated in Lino Lakes. Restrictions on
water-lawn. I do not want FLUORIDE in my drinking water as it is a carcinogen, multiple studies have
done on the hazards of fluoride. Lino Lakes has had problems with their city wells and I have family that
lives in Lino Lakes and they used my well mater during shutdowns. Blaine is another eample of City Well
contamination and maintenance. We don’t need city water, and don’t want it. I do not want to pay for
something I already have, and happy with it.”
“We are completely satisfied with well water supply – do NOT need added expense on top of big
property tax increase set for 2018 – current roadway is on continuous speed bump which forces drivers
to reduce speed which is safer for children and pedestrians – not for roadway project.”
“We don’t want City Water”
“Can’t justify adding city water at a cost of $13,000 plus monthly fees.”
“I do not support the extension of the watermain within the LaMotte Project Area.”
“Do not agree with extending water on LaMotte Drive.”
“NO. Feel we are fine without water.”
“Do not want it.”
“I just received this letter – not a lot of time for people to respond within your deadline.”
