A closer look at employment over the last 16 years (2000 — 2016) shows how the number of establishments (businesses or job locations) has fluctuated along with employment and the average weekly wages of Lino Lakes jobs. Table 5-2 and Figure 5-2 show the effects of the Great Recession of 2007 to 2012. The number of establishments, employment and even wages decreased in 2008 through 2010. The trend in the last several years shows that employment and wages were starting to grow again and now exceed pre -recession levels. Table 5-2.
