The City’s goal is maintain an Adequate <br />Overall Condition Index (OCI) for 70 % of the roadways. The City’s updated Overall Condition <br />Index Map is enclosed. <br /> <br /> OCI Rating Miles of Road Percent of System <br /> <br />Adequate 70-100 62 miles 63.19% <br />Marginal 40-69 19 miles 19.94% <br />Problem 0-39 16 miles 16.87% <br /> <br />The annual pavement ratings and Cartegraph software is used to identify the streets that are selected <br />for maintenance. The section is based on pavement management criteria (ratings, traffic volumes, <br />life expectancy of the road), input from Public Works, and feasibility of locations. The proposed <br />2016 Mill and Overlay Project: <br /> <br /> Reclaimation – Holly Drive (CR J to Holly Court) <br /> Mill and Overlay 2” – Old Birch Street northsouth leg (includes a new cul-du-sac north end) <br /> Overlay 1” – Holly Court <br /> <br />The project is estimated to cost $506,000 including a 10% contingency and 20% overhead costs. <br />The adopted maintenance budget for 2016 is $514,500. The proposed project scope meets the <br />budget. <br /> <br />The estimated schedule for this project is as follows: <br /> <br />Order Improvement, Authorize Plans and Specifications January 25, 2016 <br />Approve Plans and Specifications, Authorize Ad for Bids February 22, 2016 <br />City Opens Bids March 29, 2016 <br />City Council Awards Contract April 11, 2016 <br />Construction Begins May, 2016 <br />Final Completion August 1, 2016 <br />
