 Page 1 <br />Memo <br />To: Katie Larsen <br />From: Marty Asleson <br />Date: 2/15/2017 <br />Re: St Clair Estates Final Plat/Environmental Comments <br />CONSERVATION EASEMENT <br />The Environmental Board previously made recommendations concerning the <br />Conservation Area of St Clair Estates. These recommendations included: <br /> Significant Resources Protection <br />The St Clair Estates Wetland Edge within the Conservation Easement area of the <br />proposed project may contain rare plants. These plants if they exist would be in the <br />easement area and close to the wetland edge. The developer shall use the following <br />procedures to care for disturbance in this for drainage features: <br />1. A fence will be placed at the edge of soil disturbance areas protecting <br />vegetation from disturbance. This is not the same as the wetland and project <br />perimeter control. <br />2. Top-soils from the conservation easement area disturbed for stormwater <br />features be stockpiled in a predetermined location, and then reapplied to the <br />site in as close to the original location as possible. The narrative describes this <br />but the stockpile area needs to be shown on the grading sheet. <br />3. The conservation area shall be fenced off after construction to keep all house <br />construction activities out. <br />4. An information hand out to residents purchasing houses in the easement area <br />be drafted as an awareness/educational instrument for the natural resource <br />conservation area.
