COUNCIL MINUTES February 27, 2017 <br />DRAFT <br />1 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES 1 <br />MINUTES 2 <br /> 3 <br />DATE : February 27, 2017 4 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:33 p.m. 5 <br />TIME ENDED : 7:10 p.m. 6 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Member Rafferty, Kusterman, 7 <br /> Manthey, and Mayor Reinert 8 <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : Council Member Maher 9 <br /> 10 <br />Staff members present: City Administrator Jeff Karlson; Community Development Director Michael 11 <br />Grochala; Finance Director Sarah Cotton; City Engineer Diane Hankee; City Planner Katie Larsen; 12 <br />and City Clerk Julie Bartell 13 <br /> 14 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT 15 <br /> 16 <br />No one was present to address the council regarding a matter not on the agenda. 17 <br /> 18 <br />SETTING THE AGENDA 19 <br /> 20 <br />The agenda was amended to remove Item 3A, to be discussed at the next council work session. 21 <br /> 22 <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION 23 <br /> 24 <br />American Legion Post 566 representatives explained the oratory competition program to which the 25 <br />Legion sponsors a young member of the community. Ms. Emily Parker was chosen as representative 26 <br />and she did a fantastic job at the competition. Certificates of recognition on her achievement from the 27 <br />American Legion and from the City were presented. Mayor Reinert applauded the effort and 28 <br />achievement. 29 <br /> 30 <br />CONSENT AGENDA 31 <br /> 32 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1F as presented. 33 <br />Council Member Kusterman seconded the motion.
