COUNCIL MINUTES May 8, 2017 <br />DRAFT <br />6 <br />Mr. Trehus asked if the design process will culminate with a report that the public can comment on? 224 <br />Ms. Hankee said it will be design and specificatons and they will be presented at a neighborhood 225 <br />meeting. 226 <br /> 227 <br />Mr. Trehus noted his questions about the difference between reclamation and total reconstruction. 228 <br />Ms. Hankee said she will respond to Mr. Trehus after the meeting. 229 <br /> 230 <br />Mayor Reinert suggested that everyone has the same goal – a good project that everyone can be happy 231 <br />with. He commits to working together. 232 <br /> 233 <br />Council Member Kusterman moved to approve Resolution No. 17-42 as presented. Council Member 234 <br />Manthey seconded the motion. 235 <br /> 236 <br />Council Member Rafferty said he has heard comments and questions about how people are brought to 237 <br />the information (do they receive a mailing)? Engineer Hankee remarked that staff did not hear that 238 <br />anyone was not notifyed and she personally checked the list. 239 <br /> 240 <br />Engineer Hankee offered a suggestion to address the discussion relative to location of a storm pond: 241 <br />add to Page 7 of the report “multiple properties will be evaluated for stormwater basin within the 242 <br />block north or south of the low area”. Council Member Rafferty suggested “multiple properties or 243 <br />possibilities within a block south and block north”. Director Grochala explained that ultimately 244 <br />there will be a basin on someone’s property and there are criteria that will drive that location 245 <br />recommendation. 246 <br /> 247 <br />Council Member Kusterman amended his motion to include Engineer Hankee’s suggestion. Council 248 <br />Member Manthey concurred. Council Member Kusterman moved to approve Resolution No. 17-42 249 <br />with the amendment to the Feasibility Report (above). Council Member Manthey seconded the 250 <br />motion.
