CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 3B <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Karissa Henning, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: May 22, 2017 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Appointment of Community Development Intern <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The Council is being asked to approve the appointment of Joseph Widing for the Community <br />Development Intern position in the Community Development Department. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Mr. Joseph Widing accepted a conditional job offer, which is contingent upon the successful <br />completion of a criminal background check and a drug and alcohol test. His starting salary will <br />be $12.00 an hour at 32 hours a week. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Approve the appointment of Joseph Widing as Community Development Intern, effective May <br />30, 2017. <br /> <br />
