COUNCIL MINUTES June 26, 2017 <br />DRAFT <br />1 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES 1 <br />MINUTES 2 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 <br />DATE : June 26, 2017 5 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. 6 <br />TIME ENDED : 6:55 p.m. 7 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Member Rafferty, Kusterman, Maher, 8 <br /> Manthey, and Mayor Reinert 9 <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : none 10 <br /> 11 <br />Staff members present: Community Development Director Michael Grochala; Director of Public 12 <br />Safety John Swenson; Public Services Director Rick DeGardner; City Planner Katie Larsen; and City 13 <br />Clerk Julie Bartell 14 <br /> 15 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT 16 <br /> 17 <br />No one was present to address the council regarding a matter not on the agenda. 18 <br /> 19 <br />SETTING THE AGENDA 20 <br /> 21 <br />Mayor Reinert indicated that Items 1A and 1D would be pulled from the agenda, in order to allow 22 <br />further discussion/review. 23 <br /> 24 <br />CONSENT AGENDA 25 <br /> 26 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Consent Agenda Item 1B, as presented. Council 27 <br />Member Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Consent Agenda Item 1C. Council Member Maher 30 <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. Council Member Kusterman abstained from 31 <br />voting. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Later in the meeting, Public Safety Director Swenson asked the council consider an item on the 34 <br />expenditures list. A payment to the Minnesota POST Board is due at the end of June and he 35 <br />recommends council authorization to proceed with that payment. The council concurred with the 36 <br />payment of $540.
