COUNCIL MINUTES June 26, 2017 <br />DRAFT <br />3 <br />RFP process used to selected a vendor for the project, including a specified budget. He also reviewed 91 <br />the components of the park equipment, and the safety review element that was included. Vendors 92 <br />were allowed to set up their equipment displays at Fire Station No. 2 for review by residents. He 93 <br />reviewed the schedule proposed for installation of the equipment. His recommendation is to award 94 <br />the project to Northland Recreation LLC for installation in September of this year. 95 <br /> 96 <br />Mayor Reinert noted and the council concurred that they prefer to see parks developed at the onset of 97 <br />developments so that the residents can enjoy them right away. 98 <br /> 99 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 17-57 as presented. Council Member 100 <br />Kusterman seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 101 <br /> 102 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT 103 <br /> 104 <br />6A) NorthPointe 6th Addition: i. Public Hearing; Consider 1st Reading of Ordinance No. -105 <br />05-17, Vacating Drainage and Utility Easement (Outlot D, NorthPointe 5th Addition)- City 106 <br />Planner Larsen reviewed her written report requesting approval of an ordinance vacating drainage and 107 <br />utility easements for the NorthPointe 6th Addition, a 15 lot subdivision within that development. A 108 <br />public hearing is required for this type of vacation. The council will see additional approval requests 109 <br />related to this addition at the second reading on July 10. 110 <br /> 111 <br />Mayor Reinert opened the public hearing. 112 <br /> 113 <br />There being no one present wishing to speak, the public hearing was closed. 114 <br /> 115 <br />Council Member Maher moved to approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 05-17 as presented. 116 <br />Council Member Kusterman seconded the motion.
