<br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17-114 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, 2017 TRAIL MAINTENANCE PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of the 2017 Trail Maintenance <br />Project, quotes were received, and tabulated: <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR BIRCH ST CENTURY <br />FARM TOTAL BID <br />Allied Blacktop Company $63,677.00 $140,810.00 $204,487.00 <br />Muellner Blacktop, Inc. Did not quote Did not quote Did not quote <br />Arcade Asphalt, Inc. $32,680.00 $54,870.00 $87,550.00 <br />Pearson Brothers, Inc. Did not quote Did not quote Did not quote <br />Lino Lakes Blacktop, Inc. Did not quote Did not quote Did not quote <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Arcade Asphalt, Inc. of Lino Lakes, Minnesota is the lowest <br />responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the <br />Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract Arcade Asphalt, Inc. <br />for the construction of the 2017 Trail Maintenance Project in the amount of $87,550.00; <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of October, 2017. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br />_______________________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk
