<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA ITEM 1E <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Karissa Bartholomew, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: November 13, 2017 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 17-129 Resolution Amending the City of <br />Lino Lakes Flexible Spending Accounts Plan <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The Council is being asked to amend the City of Lino Lakes Flexible Spending Accounts <br />Plan effective January 1, 2018. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City’s Flexible Spending Accounts Plan be amended to state <br />the maximum contribution for Medical (out of pocket) expenses is consistent with IRS <br />limits. Currently, the plan’s maximum contribution is indicated as a dollar amount and is <br />being amended each year the IRS increases contribution limits. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Approve the change to the City’s Flexible Spending Accounts Plan effective January 1, <br />2018. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
