The driveway associated with such curb cut <br />may increase in width at an angle not greater than forty-five (45) degrees. <br /> <br />Attachment 3 is a Driveway Exhibit depicting a 26 foot wide curb cut and 45 degree angle. <br /> <br />The property is zoned PUD, Planned Unit Development for an urban residential subdivision. <br />The City Engineer does not approve widening of the curb cut. The property owner would be <br />required to cut out a 40 square foot concrete section of the driveway. They are requesting a <br />variance instead of having to cut out a section of the driveway. <br /> <br />Findings of Fact <br /> <br />Resolution No. 17-130 details the findings of fact. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommended denial of the variance. <br /> <br />The Planning & Zoning Board reviewed the variance application on November 8, 2017 and <br />recommended approval with a 3-2 vote. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 17-130 approves of a variance to allow for a 28 foot wide curb cut/driveway <br />width at 41 Century Trail. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
