CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-17 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR THE 2018 TRUNK WATERMAIN PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes 2030 Comprehensive Plan identifies trunk water main <br />improvements to strengthen the City's municipal water system, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is ordering the project finding that it would be in the best interest of <br />the city to proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, WSB and Associates, the City Engineer, has submitted a proposal to prepare plans <br />and specifications. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. Authorizes the Preparation of the Plans and Specifications for the 2018 Trunk <br />Watermain Project. <br />2. WSB and Associates are designated as the engineer for this improvement and directed <br />to prepare plans and specifications for the 2018 Trunk Watermain Project for an <br />amount not to exceed $39,352.00. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 26th day of February, 2018. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Manthey and was duly seconded by Council Member StQesz and upon <br />vote beingaken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Manthey, Stoesz, Maher, Reinert:_ <br />The following voted against same: <br />none (Abstain - Rafferty) <br />ATTEST: <br />11 C'y Cle <br />nne Barte • <br />
