CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-26 <br />OBJECTING AMENDMENTS TO WATER APPROPRIATIONS PERMIT 1985-6168 <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County District Court Order issued a judgement 62 -CV -13-2414 on <br />August 30, 2017 regarding the groundwater management of White Bear Lake and the Prairie du <br />Chein-Jordan Aquifer; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes' Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Water <br />Appropriation Permit 1985-6168 has been amended to include provisions resulting from said <br />Court Order; and <br />WHEREAS, adhering to the provisions of the amended permit are not easily undertaken. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br />authorizes the City Attorney to submit an appeal to the Minnesota Department of Natural <br />Resources by March 31, 2018. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of March, 2018. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Manthey and was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Manthey, Stoesz, Maher, Rafferty, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
