<br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOL UTION NO. 13 -28 <br /> <br />RESOLUTI ON ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWA RDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, OTTER LAKE ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS , pursuant to an advertisement for bid s for the construction of the Otter Lake Road <br />Improvement Project , bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br /> Contractor Amount of bid <br /> <br /> Arnt Construction Company, Inc. $326,366.20 <br /> Burschville Construction, Inc. $340,906.20 <br /> Omann Brothers, Inc. $369,791.89 <br /> Kuechl e Underground $375,560.65 <br /> Frattalone Companies, Inc. $378,650.40 <br /> Douglas -Kerr Underground, LLC $385,339.08 <br /> T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $386,947.15 <br /> Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $396,652.75 <br /> Dresel Contracting, Inc. $398,836.50 <br /> Northwest Asphalt, Inc. $403,894.87 <br /> Midwest Civil Constructors, LLC $429,902.75 <br /> <br /> Engineer’s Estimate $411,057.00 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS , it appears that Arnt Construction Company, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes : <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Arnt <br />Construct Company Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the <br />Otter Lake Road Improvement Pr oject according to the plans and specifications approved <br />by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid <br />Bonds made with their bids, except that th e deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
