CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 13 -36 APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA COUNTY FOR RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING PROGRAM AND ENHANCEMENT GRANT WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes has entered into agreement with Anoka County over the years to cooperatively work on s ol i d w aste abatement and r ecycling; and WHEREAS, Anoka County receives funding from the Solid Waste M anagement Coordinating Board and the State of Minneso ta in the form of “SCORE” funds; and WHEREAS, The County wishes to assist m unicipalities in meeting re cycling goals established by the Anoka County Board of Commissioners by providing SCORE funds to c ities in the County for solid waste recycling programs; and WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is eligible to receive a $10,000 base allocation and $5.00 p er hou sehold; and WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is eligible for additional enhancement grant for Monthly Drop -Off, Park Recycling, and Community Event R ecycling ; and WHEREAS, Anoka County Agreement No. 201 2 -0 377 provides for the cooperative effort between Ano ka Co unty and the City of Lino Lakes; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The C ity Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota , t hat the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Anoka County Agreement No. 201 2 -0 377 , Agreement for Residentia l Recycling Program on behalf of the city.
