Review Regular Council Agenda of April 22, 2013 – 16 <br /> 17 <br />Item 1 E, Resolution 13 -46 Terminating Lease Agreement with Veritas Academy – 18 <br />Council Member Stoesz asked if the Academy could possibly be housed in the Senior 19 <br />Center building instead. Community Development Director Grochala no ted that staff 20 <br />will provide assistance to Veritas if that is needed . 21 <br /> 22 <br />Item 1A, City Expenditures - Council Member Rafferty said that the city expenditures 23 <br />list includes rent payments to t he school district and he wonders if the activity could be 24 <br />moved to the city hall complex. Mr. Grochala responded that in some cases, gym use or 25 <br />other specific needs are involved; he is aware that Public Services Director DeGardner is 26 <br />interest ed in conver ting city space for other uses. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Item 6C, Resolution No. 13 -44, Amendments to Municipal State Aid Designated 29 <br />Streets – City Engineer Wedel explained that the State is amending some of the rules that 30 <br />relate t o designation of MSA streets based on traffic vol ume on the roadways. Staff has 31 <br />developed recommendations that will maximize the state MSA funding allocated to the 32 <br />city. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Not on printed agenda – Mayor Reinert noted that the council received a letter that was 35 <br />forwarded from the Charter Commission Chair. That letter includes misinformation; in 36 <br />the future staff will hold communications from the Commission until they can be 37 <br />reviewed by the council at a meeting. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Council Member Roeser asked for an update on the outdoor storage issue. Community 40 <br />Developme nt Director Grochala that staff will be bringing forward information for 41 <br />discussion and decision in May. 42 <br /> 43
