LINO LAKES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />RESOLUTION NO.13 -05 <br /> <br />APPROVING 2013 MINNESOTA LAWS, CH. 73, SECTION 10 <br />RELATING TO CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED PROPERTY <br />IN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED By the Board of Commissioners (the “Boa rd”) of the Lino Lakes <br />Economic Development Authority, Anoka County, Minnesota (the “Authority”) as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. It is hereby determined that: <br /> <br /> (a) 2013 Minnesota Laws, Chapter 73, Section 10 (the “Special Law”) <br />authorized conveyance of certain specifie d parcels of tax -forfeited property to the <br />Authority under certain conditions; <br /> <br /> (b) the Special Law is effective upon approval by a majority vote of the <br />Authority’s Board and a majority vote of the Anoka County Board of Commissioners <br />(the “County Board”); and filing a certificate with the Minnesota Secretary of State, all <br />in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 645.021, subds. 2 and 3; and <br /> <br /> (c) the Board has determined that is in the best interest of the City and its <br />residents to approve the Spe cial Law. <br /> <br /> 2. The Special Law is hereby approved in all respects. <br /> <br /> 3. Upon receipt of a certified copy of a resolution approving the Special Law by <br />the County Board, the Secretary is authorized and directed to file with the Secretary of State <br />both the Ci ty and County Board resolutions along with the appropriate certificate in the form <br />prescribed by the State attorney general. <br /> <br /> 4.
