CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 13 -85 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDI NG A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, 2013 MILL AND OVERLAY IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS , pursuant t o an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2013 Mill and Overlay Improvements, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Amount of bid FPI Pav ing Contractors, Inc. $346,0 23.00 North Metro Asp halt & Contracting $298,8 05.00 North Valley, Inc. $333,606.32 Rum River Contracting $288,687.24 Engineer’s Estimate $349,900.00 AND WHEREAS , it appears that Rum River Contra cting is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a cont ract with Rum River Contracting, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 2013 Mill and Overlay Improvements according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthw ith to all bidder the Bid Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this ___ day of _______, 2013.
