COUNCIL MINUTES July 22, 2013 <br />DRAFT <br />46 <br />47 July 8, 2013 Council Meeting Minutes Approved <br />48 <br />49 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />50 <br />51 There was no report from the Finance Department. <br />52 <br />53 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />54 <br />55 3A) Resolution No. 13 -80, Approving a Special Event Permit for The Tavern on Main annual <br />56 music /tent event, to be held on August 16 and 17, 2013 — City Clerk Bartell explained that The <br />57 Tavern on Main plans to hold its annual tent event on August 16 and 17. They have submitted a <br />58 request for a special event permit that staff has reviewed. As in the past, certain conditions are <br />59 recommended and they are attached to Resolution No. 13 -80. <br />60 <br />61 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 13 -80 as presented. Council Member <br />62 Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />63 <br />64 3B) Resolution No. 13 -83, Authorizing issuance of a Special Event Permit and 1 -4 Day <br />65 Temporary On -Sale Liquor License to American Legion Post 566 for their Blue Heron Days <br />66 Family Picnic — City Clerk Bartell reported that the local American Legion Post also plans to have an <br />67 event in conjunction with Blue Heron Days. They have applied for a special permit and for a <br />68 temporary liquor license that would allow them to utilize their outdoor property for the event. The <br />69 applications have been reviewed and certain conditions attached. With that, staff recommends <br />70 approval. <br />71 <br />72 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 13 -83 as presented. Council Member <br />73 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />74 <br />75 3C) Resolution No. 13 -84, Approving a Special Event, Parade and Excluded Bingo Permit for <br />76 the 2013 Blue Heron Days festival — City Clerk Bartell noted the dates for this year's community <br />77 festival, Blue Heron Days. Permit applications have been reviewed and staff is recommending <br />78 approval. <br />79 <br />80 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 13 -84 as presented. Council Member <br />81 Roeser seconded the motion.
