CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-96 <br />APPROVING A TEMP ON -SALE INTOXICATING/3/2 MALT BEVERAGE PERMIT <br />FOR THE TAVERN ON MAIN — BLE HERSON DAYS FESTIVAL <br />WHEREAS, owner, Chad Wagner has submitted an application for a special event permit; <br />WHEREAS, The Tavern on Main wishes to serve 3.2 beverages in Lino Park during the Blue <br />Heron Days Festival; and <br />WHEREAS, a The Tavern on Main holds a caterer's licenses that allows them to serve alcohol <br />and food off site. <br />WHEREAS, City Ordinance 04-18 allows the City Council to approve a resolution allowing 3.2 <br />Malt Beverage to be consumed in a public park or pubic grounds. <br />WHEREAS, The Tavern has submitted a plot plan of where the food truck will be located at <br />Lino Lakes Park; and <br />WHEREAS, The Tavern on Main has been approved by the Blue Heron Days Committee to be <br />part of the annual festival. <br />WHEREAS, The Temp On -Sale Permit has been approved by the Public Safety Department; <br />WHEREAS, The Tavern will ID customers ordering alcoholic beverages and provide them with <br />a wristband. <br />WHEREAS, Food and beverages will be served on Saturday, August 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 <br />p.m. <br />WHEREAS, The Tavern on Main must submit a copy of their liability insurance and a copy of <br />their caterer's license. <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the special event plans and have determined that they meet <br />the requirements of the City's ordinances; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the issuance of a Temporary On -Sale Intoxicating/3.2 <br />Malt Beverage Permit for the Tavern on Main. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of August, 2018. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Manthey and was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Manthey, Stoesz, Rafferty, Reinert <br />
