Planning & Zoning Board <br />August 8, 2018 <br />Page 5 <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />o Mr. Flannigan stated that the standard width between storage buildings <br />is roughly 20-30 feet with 25 feet being the ideal <br /> Mr. Stimpson asked about the security of the facility <br />o Mr. Flannigan stated security systems will be in place – codes, key <br />fobs and cameras <br />o Mr. Stimpson asked if they are monitored cameras <br /> Mr. Flannigan stated that any good self-storage manager will <br />have their eye on the facility <br /> Ms. Peacock asked about the blackberry bushes <br />o Mr. Pruban stated an environmental company has been hired <br /> Mr. Laden asked if there is a lighting plan <br />o Mr. Pruban confirmed that they have submitted lighting plans and that <br />it will all be down lit <br /> Mr. Laden asked about hours of operation <br /> Ms. Peacock stated Columbus has storage units and if the applicant has <br />conducted studies on the need in the area <br />o Mr. Flannigan stated this is an under supplied area <br /> <br />Mr. Root opened the public hearing at 7:49 P.M. <br /> <br />There were no public comments <br /> <br />Mr. Evenson made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing. Motion was supported by <br />Mr. Ruhland. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Stimpson made a MOTION to recommend approval of Lino Lakes Storage <br />Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Review with staff recommendation. Motion <br />was supported by Mr. Laden. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Comprehensive Plan Update <br /> Working with Council on definitions and specifics regarding density and <br />mixed use <br /> <br />B. Project Updates <br /> Lyngblomsten went to Council on Monday and was receptive, positive <br />comments by all boards <br /> Watermark is an active project, working with applicant to receive a final plat <br />application <br /> Love to Grow On is planning on submitting building application this month <br /> All Seasons Rental is revising plans <br /> Bald Eagle Erectors tenant moved to Columbus <br /> <br />
