CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-142 <br />APPOINTING ADDITIONAL ELECTION JUDGES FOR <br />THE NOVEMBER 6, 2018 GENERAL ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, a General Election will be held on November 6, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 2, election judges for each precinct <br />in a municipality shall be appointed by the governing body of that municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, a list of eligible voters was prepared; and <br />WHEREAS, the following qualified individuals have agreed to serve as election judges; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.25, election judges will receive training from <br />the Anoka County Elections and Voter Registration division; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes that <br />the individuals noted in Attachment A are hereby appointed as election judges for the November <br />6th, 2018 General Election in Lino Lakes. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 22nd day of October, 2018. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon a <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, Rafferty, Manthey, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />
