EXHIBIT B <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />2013Special Archery Deer Hunt Rules <br />1.All hunters are selected through the Metro Bowhunters Resource Based (MBRB). <br />2.Hunts are conducted using MBRB archers. <br />3.Deer hunt locations are limited to the areas identified on the provided maps. <br />4.There will be 4 hunt periods: October 4-6, 18-20, November 1-3, November 15-17. <br />5.Tree stands can be erected on the day before each hunt period with times being determined by Hunt <br />Coordinator. NO HUNTING on stand set up days. <br />6.Stands should be discretely placed so as not to be visible from residential structures in the area or from <br />public road right-of-way. <br />7.Hunters must follow all MN DNR laws,all Lino Lakes Ordinancesand all MBRB specialrules. <br />8.All hunt periods are for either sex deer with the emphasis on shooting antlerless deer. A minimum of <br />one bonus tag must be in eachhunter’spossessionat all times. <br />9.Hunters must carry a hunt authorization letter from the City at all times during the hunt. <br />10.All incidents of trespass or unknown tree stands should be reported to the MBRB Hunt Coordinator who <br />will contact the Lino Lake PoliceDepartment. <br />11.Archers will hunt from elevated stands. Ground blinds may be used in special cases but must be <br />approved by Hunt Coordinator who will assist in blind location. <br />12.Screw-in tree steps are prohibited. Archers must utilize strap-on steps, ladders, climbing sticks, or <br />climber stands for vertical access to their stands. <br />13.Hunters must have a flashlight and a warning whistle within easy reach during entry, egress, and while <br />on stand. A cell phone is recommended. <br />14.All hunters must use a five-point fall restraint harness while on stand. It is also highly recommended to <br />utilize a fall restraint systemduring ascending and descending access operations. <br />15.Only TMA approved stands/steps are acceptable. Use of any homemade stands/steps is prohibited for <br />safety reasons. <br />16.Only buckthorn can be cut for shooting lanes. Cutting should be flush with the ground. Trimming for <br />shooting lanes should be minimized so that stand locations are not readily apparent. <br />17.Archers must park in designated areas only and have a City supplied parking permit properly displayed. <br />3 <br /> <br />
