To County Recorder: <br /> I"Readin : November 26 201 8 Publication: December 18 , 2018 <br /> 2°d Readin December Effective: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 19-18 <br /> ORDINANCE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTIES ALONG WEST SHADOW <br /> LAKE DRIVE FROM R, RURAL TO R-IX, SINGLE FAMILY EXECUTIVE <br /> RESIDENTIAL AND PSP, PUBLIC AND SEMI-PUBLIC <br /> "The City Council of Lino Lakes ordains". <br /> Section 1 <br /> The City of Lino Lakes makes the following Findings of Fact: <br /> 1. The City Council Staff Report dated November 26, 2018 details the rezoning. <br /> 2. The Planning and Zoning Board held a public hearing on November 14, 2018 and <br /> made recommendation to approve the rezoning on a 6-0 vote. <br /> 3. Per Section 1007.015 (5),the Planning and Zoning Board shall consider possible <br /> adverse effects of the proposed rezoning and its judgement shall be based upon, but <br /> not limited to, the following factors: <br /> a) The proposed action has been considered in relation to the specific policies and <br /> provisions of and has been found to be consistent with the official City <br /> Comprehensive Plan. <br /> The proposed action of rezoning parcels from R, Rural to R-IX, Single Family Executive <br /> is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. The parcels are guided low density sewered <br /> residential and the R-IX zoning district is consistent with this type of land use. The <br /> current land use is single family residential. The R-IX zoning district is intended for <br /> development of single family detached homes on lots served with public sewer and water. <br /> Public sewer and water are currently being installed along this stretch of West Shadow <br /> Lake Drive. <br /> The proposed action of rezoning the two (2)Anoka County parcels from R, Rural to PSP, <br /> Public and Semi-Public is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. The parcels are <br /> guided park and are currently part of the Chomonix Golf Course. The PSP district allows <br /> for public parks and golf courses as a permitted use. <br /> b) The proposed use is or will be compatible with present and future land uses of the <br /> area. <br /> 1 <br />
