That Chapter 203 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances be <br />amended to read as follows: <br />CHAPTER 203: COUNCIL COMPENSATION <br />§ 203.01 COMPENSATION OF MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS. <br />(1) The compensation of the Mayor and the compensation of each <br />Councilmember shall be established from time to time by City Council ordinance <br />pursuant to M.S. § 415.11, as it may be amended from time to time. <br />(2) Payment. The salaries established hereby are to be paid monthly. <br />(3) Additional Council Compensation. Whenever extra meetings are called and <br />attendance is required by all members of the City Council over and above the two <br />regularly scheduled meetings, members will be compensated for a maximum of four <br />extra meetings per month at a per meeting rate established in the Council member salary <br />ordinance. ° <br />6empens tion. The Council minutes will provide proof of attendance at work sessions <br />and special meetings. <br />§ 203.02 WORKER'S COMPENSATION. <br />Pursuant to M.S. § 176.011, Subd. 5, as it may be amended from time to time, all <br />of the City Council members shall be covered by worker's compensation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th day of November 2018. <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective until January 1, 2020, when the <br />special meeting pay stipend is eliminated in accordance with Ordinance No. 17-18. <br />
