1 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6B <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee PE, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: October 8, 2018 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution 18-129, Approving a Grading and Trunk <br />Utility Agreement, Saddle Club 4th Addition <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting Council consideration to approve the Grading and Utility Agreement for <br />Saddle Club 4th Addition development. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The Saddle Club development is located south of Birch Street, east of Old Birch Road. The 4th <br />Addition of the Saddle Club development would extend from the 3rd Addition on Fox Road, and <br />connect to the existing Fox Borough development to the south. The Preliminary Plat was <br />approved at the Council Meeting on June 11, 2018. City staff has reviewed the utility and <br />grading plans. <br /> <br />A Grading and Utility Agreement was prepared including the fees and securities to cover City <br />review costs and ensure completion of the public and private improvements in accordance with <br />the approved plans. The Agreement includes a special provision that if grades need to change <br />due to changes in the master plan or final plat, it will be the sole responsibility of the Developer <br />to re-grade the site at its own cost. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 18-129 for the Saddle Club 4th Addition <br />Grading and Trunk Utility Agreement. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
