Election judges are required in order <br />to staff the city’s seven voting precincts. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The governing body of a municipality has the authority to appoint qualified applicants to serve <br />as election judges. In July, the City Council appointed judges for the Primary Election. Staff is <br />now forwarding the names of judges that will be serving for the November 6th General Election. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 18-142, Appointing Additional Election Judges <br />for the 2018 General Election. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Resolution No. 18-142
