CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-153 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING AN APPLICATION FOR A <br />THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE ENTERPRISE LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, the City received an application for a Therapeutic Massage Enterprise License <br />for New Royalty LLC (applicant Yijing Tan), at 560 Lilac Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has conducted a background check <br />on the applicant; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk has completed a review of the application; <br />Based on the record before it, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby makes the <br />following: <br />FINDINGS <br />Lino Lakes City Code, Section 616.05, Subd. 3, states that an applicant must provide <br />information reasonably necessary for the issuance of the license. Applicant has not provided <br />required information on: tax identification number; workers compensation coverage. <br />Lino Lakes City Code, Section 616.05, Subd. 3, states that an applicant may not falsely answer <br />a question or request for information on the application form. The Public Safety Department's <br />report, dated September 11, 2018, on the background investigation for the applicant includes <br />information indicating that the applicant has falsely answered questions. <br />BASED ON THESE FINDINGS, the City Council hereby denies the application of Yijing <br />Tan d/b/a New Royalty LLC to operate a therapeutic massage business at 560 Lilac Street. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13rd day of November, 2018. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council <br />Member.
