~ CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-154 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING AN APPLICATION FOR A <br />INDIVIDUAL THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, the City received an application for an Individual Therapeutic Massage <br />License for applicant Hong Liu; and <br />WHEREAS, applicant Hong Liu has indicated on her application that her employer is New <br />Royalty LLC; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has conducted a background check <br />on the applicant; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk has completed a review of the application; <br />Based on the record before it, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby makes the <br />following: <br />FINDINGS <br />Lino Lakes City Code, Section 616.05, Subd. 3, states that an applicant must provide <br />information reasonably necessary for the issuance of the license. Applicant has not provided <br />required information on: citizenship. <br />Lino Lakes City Code, Section 616.05, Subd. 3, states that an applicant may not falsely answer <br />a question or request for information on the application form. The Public Safety Department's <br />report, dated September 11, 2018, on the background investigation for the applicant includes <br />information indicating that the applicant has falsely answered questions. <br />BASED ON THESE FINDINGS, the City Council hereby denies the application of Hong <br />Liu for an Individual Therapeutic Massage License. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13 day of Nov , 2018. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Manthey and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, Manthey, stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />None (Absent - Rafferty) <br />Jeff R i , Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
