CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-156 <br />APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR LAND LOCATED <br />EAST OF I-35E AND NORTH OF MAIN STREET/CSAH 14 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has initiated a comprehensive plan amendment for 33 <br />properties identified with the following PID #s: <br />12-31-22-11-0007, 12-31-22-12-0002,12-31-22-41-0001, 12-31-22-42-0001,01-31-22- <br />44-0002, 01-31-22-44-0001, 12-31-22-14-0001,01-31-22-44-0003, 01-31-22-43-0001, <br />01-31-22-41-0004, 01-31-22-41-0003, 12-31-22-11-0008, 01-31-22-13-0004, 12-31-22- <br />43-0003, 01-31-22-11-0002, 12-31-22-14-0002, 12-31-22-13-0002, 12-31-22-12-0001, <br />12-31-22-41-0002, 01-31-22-14-0001,01-31-22-43-0002, 12-31-22-11-0006,12-31-22- <br />44-0001, 01-31, 22-11-0001, 13-31-22-11-0001, 13-31-22-41-0005, 13-31-22-41-0003, <br />13-31-22-12-0002, 13-31-22-14-0001,13-31-22-13-0002, 13-31-22-43-0002,13-31-22- <br />41-0004 and 13-31-22-42-0001 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has initiated a land use guide plan amendment to change <br />278.71 acres from Commercial, Industrial and Medium Density Residential to Business Campus <br />on the 2030 Full Build Out Future Land Use Map as shown on Exhibit A. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has initiated a land use guide plan amendment to change <br />�"t 559.23 acres from Urban Reserve to Business Campus, Commercial and Industrial on the 2030 <br />Future Land Use Map as shown on Exhibit B. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has initiated a change to the Utility Stage Plan Map <br />Amendment to move 226.53 acres from Stage 2A Planned Service Area to Stage I Planned <br />Service Area and to move 559.23 acres from Stage 3 Planned Service Area to Stage l B Planned <br />Service Area on the 2030 Utility Staging Map as shown on Exhibit C. <br />WHEREAS, the development is consistent with the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances; <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the requested amendments at a duly called <br />Public Hearing and recommends approval; <br />WHEREAS, the proposed amendments meet the standards outlined in the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Specifically: <br />1. The proposed 2030 Comprehensive Plan amendments are needed to enhance economic <br />development opportunities in the City. <br />2. The proposed 2030 Comprehensive Plan amendments are needed to make land <br />development -ready for larger business campus projects in the City of Lino Lakes. <br />3. The Comprehensive Plan is intended to be evaluated regularly and amended as needed to <br />meet City goals as noted in Chapter 11 (Implementation) of the Comprehensive Plan, which <br />states "The city will biannually review the Plan and amend the Plan, as necessary, to reflect <br />changing needs and conditions." <br />
