THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. ir 3 <br />An ordinance regulating the use of highways within the Village <br />of Lino Lakes, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, incorporating <br />provisions of the State Highway traffic regulation act by reference <br />and imposing the penalty for the violation thereof. <br />The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />Section 1. HIGHWAY TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT INCORPORATED BY <br />REFERENCE. The regulatory provisions of Minnesota Statutes 1945, c. 169, <br />as amended by Laws 1947, Chapters 114, 204, 428, 505, Laws 1949, <br />Chapters 78, 90, 247, 263, 521, and Laws 1951, Chapters 39, 49, 114, <br />132, 212, 331, 363, 394, 588, and 663, are hereby adopted as traffic <br />ordinance regulating the use of highways, streets and alleys within <br />the Village of Lino Lakes and hereby incorporated in and made a part <br />of this ordinance as completely as if set out here in full. <br />Section 2. PENALTY. Any violation of the statutes adopted by <br />reference in Section 1 is a violation of this ordinance when it occurs <br />within the Village of Lino Lakes. Any person thus violating any <br />provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and <br />shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed $100.00 or by imprison- <br />ment in the County jail for a period of not to exceed 90 days; but <br />if a minimum fine or imprisonment is prescribed by the state highway <br />traffic act for an offense, such penalty shall apply to a person <br />convicted of the same offense under this ordinance. <br />Passed by the Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes <br />this day of July, 1955. <br />Attest: <br />Village Cler <br />
