VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES <br />DOG ORDINANCE <br />,ThSection 1: No dog shall be permitted to run at large within the limits of this village. <br />Section 2: The restriction imposed by Section 1 shall not prohibit the appearance of <br />of any dog upon the streets or public property when the dog is under the immediate control of <br />the person charged with its care. <br />ol5 <br />Section 3: No person shall keep any dog within the Village Without securing a license <br />therefrom from the Clerk, who shall keep a record of all licenses issued and shall issue a <br />metal tag for each license. The annual license fee shall be $2.88 for each male or spayed <br />female dog and $5.00 for each female dog. Such licenses expire on the lst day of January. <br />Section 4: The dog catcher, every constable and every police officer shall impound any <br />dog found unlicensed or running at large and shall give notice of the impounding to the owner <br />of such dog, if known. If the owner is unknown such officer shall post notice at the Village <br />polling place that if the dog is not claimed within 4 days of such posting it shall be dispos- <br />ed of. If such dog is not claimed and the fees paid the dog shall be disposed of unless it <br />is requested by a licensed educational or scientific institution under Minnesota Statutes <br />35.71. Any impounded dog will be housed and fed in a humane manner. An impounding fee of <br />$3.00 and a charge of $.75 per day for feeding shall be charged for any dog impounded. <br />Section 5: For the purpose of this ordinance puppies or young dogs shall be considered <br />as full-grown dogs when they reach the age of six (6) months from date of birth and are then <br />subject to all provisions contained herein. <br />Section 6: Any person violating any provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a <br />memeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than $100.00 <br />o y imprisonment for not more than 90 days. <br />This ordinance has been in effect since its passage on.the 13th day of June, 1960. <br />NUISANCE ORDINANCE <br />Section 1: No person, firm, or corporation shall cause or permit any nuisance as here- <br />inafter defined to be maintained or permitted upon private or public property within the Village. <br />Secteion 2: Nuisance is hereby defined and constitutes the following: <br />(a) Accumulations of tin cans, bottles,,,trash, ashes, or debris of any nature. <br />(b) The piling, storing and keeping of old machinery, wrecked or junked vehicles, or <br />or other junk or debris upon open space. For the purpose of this section, a junked vehicle <br />is one which is not registered and which does not possess a current state auto license, but <br />said auto license shall not be the sole factor determining the status of said vehicle. <br />(c) Placing the contents of any cesspool, septic tank, privy vault or garbage can <br />upon the surface of the ground. <br />(d) Placing paper, litter or debris upon open ground. <br />(e) Causing or allowing any unnecessary noises or annoying vibrations. <br />Section 3: Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall <br />be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceed- <br />ing $100 or by imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than 90 days. <br />'`This ordinance has been in effect since its passage on the 13th day of May, 1963. <br />Presented here in condensed form, copies of the complete ordinances may be obtained <br />from the Vilh ge Clerk -Treasurer. <br />
