ORDINANCE NO. 1 A <br />VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1, OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA PASSED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL ON THE 16th <br />DAY OF JUNE, 1955, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE LICENSING AND REGULATING <br />THE SALE OF NON -INTOXICATING MALT LIQUORS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY <br />FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF". <br />The Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, <br />ordains: <br />I. <br />Ordinance No. 1 entitled "AN ORDINANCE LICENSING AND <br />REGULATING THE SALE OF NON -INTOXICATING MALT LIQUORS AND PROVIDING <br />A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF", Passed by the Village Council <br />on the 16th day of June, 1955, is hereby amended by adding thereto <br />the following: <br />SECTION 11 A. Special Licenses. <br />Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, upon proper written <br />application, the Village Council may issue special license to any <br />non.'profit organization existing for social or business progress or <br />intellectual improvement, or to one responsible member thereof, <br />acting in behalf of such organization, for either the "on -sale" <br />or `off -sale", or both, of non -intoxicating malt liquors for <br />special events, or occasions, on property to be designated therein, <br />such organization to furnish evidence to the council of public <br />liability insurance of a minimum of $25,000.00 and $50,000.00 and <br />$5,000.00 property damage to cover such operation, such insurance to <br />be in a company acceptable to the council, or such applicant to <br />provide suitable proof of financial responsibility to be approved <br />by the Council. The annual license fee for such special license <br />shall be $1.00 for each such "on -sale" and "off -sale" license, shall <br />be issued for one specific place of sale which may include any ball <br />park or other place of public gathering, and not transferrable to <br />another place or organization, and such license shall contain any <br />conditions or restrictions deemed necessary by the Council, including <br />the specific date or dates upon which sales may be held. All of <br />the other provisions in this ordinance which do not conflict with <br />the foregoing in this section, shall apply to such sale. <br />II. <br />Save for the foregoing amendment said Ordinance No. 1 shall <br />stand and be effective as originally adopted. <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after <br />its passage and publication according to law. <br />Passed by the Village Council this 26th day of July, 1965. <br />ATTEST: Alden E.
