ORDINANCE NO. 44 <br />AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING CERTAIN OFFICERS AND <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, <br />TO BE BONDED AND FIXING THE AMOUNTS OF SUCH BONDS. <br />The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, <br />ordains: <br />SECTION 1. The following officers and employees of the Village <br />of Lino Lakes, before entering upon the discharge of their duties, shall <br />be bonded, the respective amounts thereof to be as follows: <br />Village Assessor <br />Village Clerk -Treasurer <br />Deputy Village Clerk -Treasurer <br />Constables (each) <br />Building Inspector <br />$10,000 <br />$30,000 <br />$10,000 <br />$10,000 <br />$10,000 <br />SECTION 2. The official bond of the Village Assessor shall be <br />executed in favor of the State of Minnesota, and shall be approved by <br />and filed with the County Auditor of the County of Anoka, Minnesota. The <br />official bonds of all the officers and employees shall be executed in favor <br />of the Village of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and shall be approved and filed <br />as required by law. <br />SECTION 3. The official bond of each officer and employee herein - <br />before mentioned in SECTION 1 shall be executed in such form as to <br />require the faithful performance of official duties and the proper appli- <br />cation of, and payment upon demand for, all moneys officially received, <br />by each officer and employee. <br />SECTION 4. The official bond of each officer and employee required <br />to be bonded shall be a corporate surety bond. No corporate surety bond <br />shall be accepted or approved unless it is executed by a corporation duly <br />authorized by the State of Minnesota to contract as a surety or guarantor. <br />SECTION 5. The premiums for the official bonds shall each be paid <br />from the general fund of the Village. <br />SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be and remain in <br />force from and after its passage and publication. <br />
