ORDINANCE NO. 44 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, TO BE BONDED AND FIXING THE AMOUNTS OF SUCH BONDS. The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, ordains: SECTION 1. The following officers and employees of the Village of Lino Lakes, before entering upon the discharge of their duties, shall be bonded, the respective amounts thereof to be as follows: Village Assessor Village Clerk -Treasurer Deputy Village Clerk -Treasurer Constables (each) Building Inspector $10,000 $30,000 $10,000 $10,000 $10,000 SECTION 2. The official bond of the Village Assessor shall be executed in favor of the State of Minnesota, and shall be approved by and filed with the County Auditor of the County of Anoka, Minnesota. The official bonds of all the officers and employees shall be executed in favor of the Village of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and shall be approved and filed as required by law. SECTION 3. The official bond of each officer and employee herein - before mentioned in SECTION 1 shall be executed in such form as to require the faithful performance of official duties and the proper appli- cation of, and payment upon demand for, all moneys officially received, by each officer and employee. SECTION 4. The official bond of each officer and employee required to be bonded shall be a corporate surety bond. No corporate surety bond shall be accepted or approved unless it is executed by a corporation duly authorized by the State of Minnesota to contract as a surety or guarantor. SECTION 5. The premiums for the official bonds shall each be paid from the general fund of the Village. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be and remain in force from and after its passage and publication.
