AGENDA ITEM 3A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Brian Wessel <br />DATE: 3/22/99 <br />TOPIC: Consideration of annual appointments <br />BACKGROUND: <br />According to Lino Lakes EDA by-laws, the EDA elects a president, vice <br />president, secretary, treasurer and assistant treasurer each year. The offices of <br />president, vice president and treasurer must be held by EDA members. <br />In 1998 the officers were as follows: <br />President: Mayor Kim Sullivan <br />Vice President: Councilmember Caroline Dahl <br />Treasurer: Councilmember Andy Neal <br />Secretary: Mary Divine <br />Assistant Treasurer: Marilyn Anderson <br />Executive Director: City Administrator Linda Waite Smith <br />Staff recommends that Daryl Sulander assume the position of assistant <br />treasurer. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Elect a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and assistant treasurer <br />to serve in 1999. <br />2. Return to staff for further consideration <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option 1 <br />
