AGENDA ITEM 7 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Mary Alice Divine <br />DATE: 06/23/03 <br />TOPIC: Consideration of power line easement to Northern <br />States Power Company <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Attached is an Electric Distribution Easement that has been prepared by <br />Northern States Power Company pertaining to property that the city acquired <br />from George Reiling on the corner of Lake Drive and Hodgson Road. There is an <br />electrical utility line that traverses the property, however, there never has been a <br />specific easement granted to the power company to locate the poles. <br />As a part of the title registration proceeding, Northern States Power Company <br />agreed to define the limits of their easement over the property. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve the Electric Distribution Easement from Northern States Power <br />Company <br />
