ORDINANCE NO. 32A <br />VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 (b) OF ORDINANCE NO. 32, PASSED <br />BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, <br />ON THE 13TH DAY OF MAY, 1963. <br />The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka <br />County, minnesota, ordains: <br />I. <br />(b), of SECTION 2, of Ordinance No. 32, of the Village of <br />Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, passed by the Village Council <br />on May 13, 1963, is hereby amended by repealing the same and replacing <br />the same with the following: <br />(b) The parking, keeping, placing or storing of, or the <br />permitting of parking or storage of old machinery or junk cars on a <br />public street or alley, or on any private lands or premises which <br />are owned, occupied or controled by the one so doing, or so permitting, <br />except where such is being pursued in accordance with existing zoning <br />and the issuance of a special use permit therefore. <br />This shall also apply to anyone who shall park, keep, <br />or place such vehicle even if he be not the owner of the lands upon <br />which such vehicle is parked, kept, or placed. <br />For the purpose of this section, a junk car means any <br />motor vehicle which is not in operable condition, or which is partially <br />dismantled, or which is used for sale of parts or as a source of repair <br />or replacement parts for other vehicles, or which is kept for scrapping, <br />dismantling, or salvage of any kind, or which is not properly licensed <br />for operation within the State of Minnesota by the State of Minnesota. <br />Upon prior application to the Village Council, and the <br />Council being convinced that a valid reason therefor exists, and upon <br />Council resolution therefor, a special permit may be issued by the <br />Village Clerk -Treasurer, for the storage of a vehicle or vehicles <br />within the Village, on private property, which vehicle or vehicles may <br />not have current Minnesota registration thereon. Such special permit <br />must be renewed annually, dated, state the reason therefore, be non- <br />transferable, and the applicant shall pay an annual fee to the Village <br />therefor of $5.00 per vehicle. <br />II. <br />Save as above amended, Ordinance No. 32 shall stand as <br />initially adopted. <br />
