ORDINANCE NO. 32A VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 (b) OF ORDINANCE NO. 32, PASSED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, ON THE 13TH DAY OF MAY, 1963. The Village Council of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, minnesota, ordains: I. (b), of SECTION 2, of Ordinance No. 32, of the Village of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, passed by the Village Council on May 13, 1963, is hereby amended by repealing the same and replacing the same with the following: (b) The parking, keeping, placing or storing of, or the permitting of parking or storage of old machinery or junk cars on a public street or alley, or on any private lands or premises which are owned, occupied or controled by the one so doing, or so permitting, except where such is being pursued in accordance with existing zoning and the issuance of a special use permit therefore. This shall also apply to anyone who shall park, keep, or place such vehicle even if he be not the owner of the lands upon which such vehicle is parked, kept, or placed. For the purpose of this section, a junk car means any motor vehicle which is not in operable condition, or which is partially dismantled, or which is used for sale of parts or as a source of repair or replacement parts for other vehicles, or which is kept for scrapping, dismantling, or salvage of any kind, or which is not properly licensed for operation within the State of Minnesota by the State of Minnesota. Upon prior application to the Village Council, and the Council being convinced that a valid reason therefor exists, and upon Council resolution therefor, a special permit may be issued by the Village Clerk -Treasurer, for the storage of a vehicle or vehicles within the Village, on private property, which vehicle or vehicles may not have current Minnesota registration thereon. Such special permit must be renewed annually, dated, state the reason therefore, be non- transferable, and the applicant shall pay an annual fee to the Village therefor of $5.00 per vehicle. II. Save as above amended, Ordinance No. 32 shall stand as initially adopted.
