(F) Storage, or warehouse; packing and crating, express, carting or <br /> hauling stations; trucking yard or terminal. <br /> (G) Storage yards for contractors, bidding materials, coal, fuel oil, etc. <br /> (H) Public utilities and essential service buildings and storage. <br /> Restricted Use-No building may be erected, altered, or used, and no lot <br /> or premises may be used in, or within three hundred (300) feet of, a <br /> Residence District within the Village, except as authorized by permit to <br /> be issued by the Village Council. <br /> 6.19 PUBLIC AND SEMI-PUBLIC DISTRICT <br /> This district is designed and intended to aid in guiding development towards <br /> fulfillment of the Comprehensive Plan to serve the following functions: <br /> To provide the community with properly located schools, colleges, <br /> and health institutions. <br /> To provide the community with properly located Public Services and <br /> Utilities. <br /> To provide the community with properly located open green space, <br /> parks, playgrounds and recreational facilities. <br /> To relate public and semi-public locations with the thoroughfare <br /> system. <br /> Minimum land area for any Public and Semi-Public (PSP) District shall have <br /> at least one (1) acre of land, and the minimum building lot width at the <br /> street shall have no less than one hundred fifty (150) feet. <br /> Structure Land Coverage-The area covered by any structure or structures <br /> shall not exceed 35% of the total land area. <br /> Green Area-At least 35% of the site shall be retained for and devoted to <br /> green grass, open space, or landscaped area. <br /> Permitted Uses-In this Public and Semi-Public (PSP) District no building or <br /> land shall be used, and no building shall be erected, converted or struc- <br /> turally altered unless otherwise provided herein, except for one or more of <br /> the following uses: <br /> (A) Schools- Elementary, Junior High, High School, College, Graduate <br /> College or Learning Institution. <br /> (B) Hospital, Major Clinics, Sanitariums, Rest Homes, Nursing Home or <br /> Institutions and Churches. <br /> (C) All Public Buildings for Municipal Government, such as Village Hall, <br /> /-4N Water Works, Sewage Plant, Police, Fire, etc. <br /> (D) Parks and Recreation Facilities, Golf Courses. <br /> CE) P.U.D.-Planned Unit Developments. <br /> -42- <br />
