ORDINANCE NO. 57 <br />VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATIVE TO A MUNICIPAL SEWER SYSTEM. <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, <br />DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM <br />SECTION 1. General Operation. The Village of Lino Lakes <br />(hereinafter called the Village) municipal sanitary sewer system <br />shall be operated as a public utility and convenience from which <br />revenues will be derived, subject to the provisions of this section. <br />SECTION 2. Connections With Sewer Required. Any buildings <br />used for human habitation or for human occupancy, including all <br />business buildings, unless specifically exempted by the Village <br />Council on the grounds that no human beings occupy or use such <br />buildings and no sewage wastes are generated therein, located on <br />property adjacent to a sewer main, or in a block through which the <br />system extends, shall be connected to the municipal sanitary sewer <br />system within one (1) year from the time a connection is available <br />to any such property. <br />All buildings hereafter constructed within the Village on <br />property adjacent to a sewer main or in a block through which the <br />system extends, shall be provided with a connection to the munici- <br />pal sanitary sewer system for the disposal of all human wastes. <br />SECTION 3. Supervision. The Village Plumbing Inspector shall <br />supervise all house sewer connections made to the municipal sanitary <br />sewer system and all excavations for the purpose of installing or <br />repairing the same. <br />SECTION 4. Permits, Licenses, Fees, Bond and Insurance. <br />(1) Any person desiring to make connection to the municipal <br />sanitary sewer system shall apply to the Village for a permit for <br />such connection. The application shall be submitted on blanks <br />furnished by the Village Clerk -Treasurer and shall be accompanied <br />by plans, specifications and such other information as the said <br />Clerk -Treasurer requires, together with a permit and inspection <br />fee as determined by the Village Council.
