It shall be unlawful to discharge or cause to be discharged into the <br />municipal sewer system, either directly or indirectly, and roof, storm, sur- <br />face or ground water of any type or kind, or water discharged from any air <br />conditioning unit or system. <br />SECTION 9. Tampering with Municipal Sewer System Prohibited. <br />No person shall maliciously, wilfully or negligently break, damage, <br />destroy, uncover, deface or tamper with any structure, appurtenance or <br />equipment which is a part of the municipal sewage system. No person shall <br />attach any prohibited or un-reported lead or line to that system without <br />having a permit to so do, nor shall any unreported connection be made on <br />the owners premises, inside or outside of the building thereon, which would <br />introduce waters or substances prohibited or forbidden by this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 10. Certain Connections Prohibited. <br />No buildings located on property lying outside the limits of the <br />Village shall be connected to the municipal sanitary sewer system unless <br />express authorization therefor is obtained from the Council of the Village. <br />SECTION 11. Entry Upon Private Property. <br />The Village Engineer and other duly authorized employees of the Village, <br />bearing proper credentials and identification, shall at reasonable times <br />be permitted to enter upon all properties for the purpose of inspection, ob- <br />servation, measurement, sampling and testing in connection with the operation <br />of the municipal sanitary sewer system. <br />SECTION 12. Repair of Public Right of Way and Gas Lines. <br />(1) No connection to the municipal sanitary sewer system shall be <br />finally approved until all street, pavements, curbs and bouevards or other <br />public improvements thereon have been restored to their former condition <br />to the stisfaction of the Village Engineer. <br />(2) Whenever any license hereunder or any other person engaged in <br />making a connection to the municipal sanitary sewer system shall damage the <br />coating on any gas mains or gas lines, such damage sha-1 be promptly re- <br />orte d by the person causing such damage to the proper utility company before <br />such gas line or gas main is covered with earth. Failure to make such report <br />shall be considered a violation of this Ordinance subject to penalties here <br />in imposed. <br />SECTION 13. Variances. <br />The Village Plumbing Inspector amy pecuiit variations from the strict <br />application of any of the provision of this Ordinance if he is satisfied <br />that there are special circumstances or conditions affecting the premises <br />for which the variance is requested and that the granting of such variation <br />will not materially affect adversely health, safety, or general welfare or <br />public or private property. Any variation permitted under this provision <br />must be noted on the permit. <br />SECTION 14. Rates and Charges. <br />
