19-13_ <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, A <br />MINNESOTA CORPORATION, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, PERMISSION <br />TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE, REPAIR, AND MAINTAIN, IN THE VILLAGE <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, AN ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM <br />AND TRANSMISSION LINES, INCLUDING NECESSARY POLES, POLE LINES, <br />AND FIXTURES AND APPURTENANCES; FOR THE FURNISHING OF ELECTRIC <br />ENERGY TO THE VILLAGE AND ITS INHABITANTS, AND OTHERS, <br />AND TO USE THE STREETS, ALLEYS, PUBLIC WAYS AND PUBLIC GROUNDS <br />OF SAID VILLAGE FOR SUCH PURPOSES; PRESCRIBING CERTAIN <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEREOF, AND PRESCRIBING THE RATES TO BE <br />CHARGED THEREFOR, <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LAKES DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. PURPOSES. Northern States Power Company, <br />a corporation organized under the laws of the State of <br />Minnesota, owns and operates property used and useful in the <br />production, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity <br />in the Village of Lino Lakes. <br />The Village Council has determined that it is <br />desirable, in the public interest, and to the advantage of <br />the consumers of electricity in Lino Lakes, that a franchise <br />be granted to Company upon the terms and conditions contained <br />herein. <br />Company, in consideration of benefits accruing to <br />it under the franchise agrees to supply electric service <br />in Lino Lakes upon the terms and conditions <br />
