19 <br />FIRM AND INTERRUPTIBLE LARGE GENERAL SERVICE (Contd) <br />Maximum Demand The maximum demand in kilowatts shall be the greatest 15-minute <br />load during the month for which bill is rendered. <br />Average Power Factor The average power factor is defined to be the quotient <br />obtained by dividing the kilowatt-hours used during the month by the square <br />root of the sum of the squares of the kilowatt-hours used and the lagging <br />reactive kilovolt -ampere -hours supplied during the same period. Any leading <br />kilovolt -ampere -hours supplied during the period will not be considered in <br />determining the average power factor. The average power factor shall be <br />determined for each of the Services. <br />Minimum Demand to be Billed The monthly minimum billing demand for each of <br />the Services shall not be less than provided above, whether or not energy is <br />used. <br />A <br />
