<br />COUNTY OF ANOKA
<br />STATE OF MINNESOTA
<br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DEPOSIT, PARKING OR STANDING OF
<br />CERTAIN MATERIALS AND MOTOR VEHICLES AND OTHER ITEMS ON PUBLIC
<br />STREETS AND HIGHWAYS IN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY,
<br />MINNESOTA.
<br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County,
<br />Minnesota, does ordain as follows:
<br />I.
<br />No person shall deposit, cause to be deposited, or through
<br />any negligence allow to be deposited upon the traveled portion of
<br />any public Street or Highway, or the shoulders thereof, within
<br />the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, any snow, ice,
<br />slush, earth, stone, mud, wood or items of like substance, irre-
<br />spective of the source thereof. Nothing herein shall be deemed
<br />to interfere with the removal of such items by the City of Lino
<br />Lakes, its agents or employees or anyone authorized by said City
<br />to do so to provide safe travel on public Streets or Highways.
<br />II.
<br />No person shall park or stand, cause to park or stand, or
<br />through any negligence allow to be parked or stood upon the traveled
<br />portion of any public Street or Highway, or the shoulders thereof,
<br />within the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, any motor
<br />vehicle, trailer or other item, so that such motor vehicle, trailer
<br />or other item shall constitute a hazard or interfere with the
<br />maintenance, repair, construction, cleaning or removal of snow, ice,
<br />slush or other items from any public Street or Highway within the
<br />City, or the shoulders thereof.
<br />Whenever any such snow, ice, slush, earth, stone, mud, wood,
<br />or items of like substance, motor vehicle, trailer or other items
<br />are so deposited, so parked or so let or made to deposit or stand
<br />in violation of this Ordinance, any police officer or other authorized
<br />agent of the City of Lino Lakes is hereby authorized to remove or
<br />cause to be removed such snow, ice, slush, earth, stone, mud, wood
<br />or other items of like substance, or motor vehicle, trailer or other
<br />items, without notice to the one so causing same to be so placed,
<br />or the owner thereof, to any parking lot, garage or storage area
<br />designated by the City Council, and the owner or one so violating
<br />this Ordinance shall be liable to the City for the costs thereof.
